There are few experiences in burlesque quite like seeing Goodtime Mama Jojo in action, and we were lucky enough to do just that at Highway to Hull.

We are thrilled to have had the one and only officially Burlesque Hall of Fame recognised UK burlesque legend at our weekender, both to perform and give a talk about her life.

On stage her energy is electric, her wit razor-sharp, and her performances a masterclass in showmanship.

Beyond the stage, her stories and insights offered a rare glimpse into a life devoted to burlesque, full of laughter, resilience, and unforgettable moments. Being in her presence was inspiring, fun, and completely unforgettable - a reminder of the brilliance and boldness that defines British burlesque.
