Nominations Are Open!

Last year we created three awards to recognise those in the burlesque industry who are making waves.

The three categories are:

Icon of the Year

This award honours someone who:

• Has been performing or contributing to the scene since before 2010 • Has made a long-term, significant impact on burlesque or cabaret • Is widely respected and recognised by their peers • Embodies performance excellence, legacy, and inspiration • Uplifts others and represents our shared community values (2025 winner Lady Wildflower)

Changemaker of the Year

This award honours someone who: •  Has challenged norms and pushed for positive change •  Amplifies underrepresented voices and communities •  Advocates for safer, more inclusive, and accessible spaces •  Has led a project or initiative that made a difference in 2025 (2025 winner Sadie Sinner)

Supporter of the Year

This award honours someone who: • Lifts others up from behind the scenes • Shows up, shares, supports, or helps others grow • May not be centre stage but helps make the magic happen (2025 winner Tony Heath)
