"I performed burlesque for the first time in 2008, at a cute little show at a Reading social club called 'Hot Muffins'. I got the gig through the strict application process of sending a message on Myspace. No video of my act, no information about my performance, just a can do attitude and a hope and a prayer...things have changed a lot in the past 17 years!
We've seen a buzzing, underground scene grow into a huge, multi-faceted industry. I'm so glad to have been part of it and am grateful to every producer who gave me a chance and allowed me to hone my craft with them and on their stages, every performer who I've worked alongside, many of whom I've become firm friends with. It's been a real journey so far, I've done a lot of growing in the burlesque world, made mistakes, learned so much, been heartbroken, celebrated victories. And hope to continue doing so. Thank you to everyone!"
